I'm looking to buy her a good quality, 18650 light, she wants the beam to be somewhat wide but still with a fair amount of throw, and she wants the flashlight to be pink. And my budget is around $100... Any ideas?

The size of the light is not to much of a worry, something around the tk21's size would be ok.

And if you can't find a pink light that meets the criteria than lights of other colours will do, or just pink lights that do not meet the criteria. Just wan't to see what the options are...

The Hot Pink Malkoff MD-2 immediately came to mind, but it is sold out. I am waiting to get one for my girlfriend.

You could send a light to be Cerakoted in pink though. Else, Streamlight has a few new girl-friendly lights.
 
Google: "Aurora SH-272" - it claims to be red but looks very pink to me. CREE XR-E diode, one 18650, two modes at 1A and 450mA respectively, orange peel reflector, $25.

I haven't used or even seen this light personally, I just remembered that it looked pink in photos. :)

Or you could get any color flashlight and send it off to be anodized pink! Might cost a few hundred extra bucks though.
 
Personally, I won't give anyone a Li-ion light unless they are well aware of how to treat the battery.

There are many pink cheapo lights, most of the good ones are probably posted above.

+1... and perhaps I'm being sexist or stereotyping too much, but just can't imagine someone so concerned with the flashlight's color [esp. pink], periodically testing a cell with a multimeter.

I handle most of the battery charging in the house... And batteries are generally checked weekly. She knows what can happen to them under certain conditions. She can definitely handle a battery... And as for girls and colors, I know a cop who at home has her glocks slide cover plate pink, she wants her whole glock pink too, lol.

^^ nice... there're exceptions to everything - I stand corrected.

I had hard time chasing down a nice figured woman with a long ponytail in matching white full race leathers, helmet, and 748 Ducati through some of the best twisties in the area. I think she coulda walked all over me if she wanted.
 
It might be cool if the color temp is pink, too XD
Cutting a circular piece of pink flash gel (translucent film) and inserting behind the front glass might turn the light pink.

k, I just tried it out. I put a pink flash gel with 55% transmission on the light, and it became pinkish. It lost lumens, but girls ain't into number games anyways. You can buy a 300-page flash gel book for a few dollars. The dimension of the filter in my book is slightly bigger than a P60 bezel diameter.
