 hi there, im like the fenix E05, but looking for something more with a NEUTRAL WHITE LED rather than cool white looking.

are there any small keyring flashlights manufacturers who produce NEUTRAL WHITE .
wouldn't mind the E05 in neutral white.
thanks.

thank you everyone...appreciated 😎

Compared to the Fenix, my Thrunite Ti, ITP EOS A3 and Olight i3 do look much more neutral indeed. Build quality seems not to be too much different between those.

At the top of my mind, DQG II. Options of neutral and cw.
Or Peak Eiger, but it's longer due to the QTC.

If you buy the E05 in the XPE-R2 version with 27 lumens, the LED is a neutral white creamy tint.
Just right.

Peak makes lots of great keychain lights with a variety of tints including neutral and high CRI. The eager with a nichia 219 is a real winner.

There are subsets of the Nichia 219 which are neutral white and high CRI, and that's what most people here mean when they talk about the Nichia 219 LED.

I wasn't aware of any R2 bin Neutral white XP-Es, I though they topped out at Q4 or Q5.

was looking at this page from peaklights, the Eiger pocket light.

...what does LUG mean? cos im looking to attach it to a lanyard or keyring.

and it asks what optical type? - narrow or medium?..what does that mean?..which one do I need?, what is the best one?.

thanks.

Lug refers to the fixed lanyard attachment machined from the body.
Pocket refers to a flat tail.
Keychain has a screwed in lanyard attachment which can be replaced with an optional momentary switch.
More visual explanation here.

Narrow just means you have a more focused beam, ie slightly better throw than the medium which is floodier than the former.

If you require a light to see further objects, Narrow is the better option. However, Medium being the floodier option lets you have a wider area coverage, better for close-up use too. I have own both optics and in my personal opinion, the difference isn't really night and day but it's good enough.

Here are some beam shots from Peak and their dedicated CPF forum.

    Fenix Worldwide
Darryl, Fenix has no plan on releasing some neutral white keychain flashlights. 'cause it seems that only minority guys are interested with that kinds of flashlights. Once the marketing needs, Fenix would consider it.
