Hi all! I just found this website a few days ago from flashlightreview, and I like this forum a lot! I'm starting to be interested in having multiple flashlights. I currently have a minimag (now it's my last resort backup...), a Legend LX, and an Inova X5 (though not too bright, I like its design). But now I want to get a SureFire C2. I live in SW area of Houston, TX, and I really don't know where I can buy (or at least see physically) SureFire flashlights. Anyone know which store in Houston area has it? If none, I don't hesitate to buy it online, but I prefer to see it on my own first. Any reply is welcome! See y'all later~

Welcome to CPF! I don't live in TX so I don't know that I can help you with your specific question, but I think most members will agree that--at least with Surefire's--it's *MUCH* smaller in person than you thought it would be. I know you say that if you can't find it B&M you won't hesitate to buy online, and I'm just here to tell you there's nothing wrong with that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You could try Jim Pruett's Guns and Ammo in Houston,
11101 Huffmeister, Houston, TX, 77065

Phone them at 832-237-4867 or e-mail [email protected]

Hope this is useful!

It would be nice if surefire had a list of B&M dealers on their website.

Your asking a lot! Surefire last I checked just a day or two ago still has nothing on their L5 & L6 LED's. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif

Thanks for all the replies! Special thanks to tadbik, I'll check that out when I have time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And I guess I just couldn't find it in normal sport shops and must be in gun shops huh...

Since this is a thread for newbie questions, here is another one...

Note that I am a long-time member of this forum and a long-time fan of LED lights. I am just a newbie when it comes to incandecent.

Is there a thread or web site which can list the differences between the various types of bulbs. Which is better: Halogen, Krypton, or Xenon? What are the trade-offs of the various types? Also, what type of bulb is in the cheapie $3.00 lights?

Thanks.
