I was thinking about my ideal light, given today's technology. I thought it would be the Ostar 15-watt LED in a big reflector, multi-level, driven by a battery of Li-Ion D cells. Then I saw this -- after I'd already purchased too many other lights.

Such an incredible light for the price, especially when you look at all the time and custom work that went into it. These big, single-LED lights seem the way to go to me, and this package is virtually my ideal light -- lots of lumens with both throw and spill. It's hard to believe it hasn't sold. Must be the economy.

I had to laugh when I saw the comparison light to this LED for sale was the surefire M6 HOLA. LEDs have come a long way.
