A surefire knock off!!

That's pretty neat. And they use real Surefire lamp assemblies.

Interesting how their 60 and 9p knockoffs aren't much cheaper than the real thing, yet the weaponlight is less than 1/5 the price of the real one.

I notice the "for airsoft only" text, and assume this means the cost-cutting measures were in the shock-isolation bezel, waterproofing, etc.

Frankly, I asked them why they use Surefire's direct nomenclature for their own lights while only using the lamp assembly.

You can stuff a smallblock Chevy into a kit car, or a VW engine into a sand rail, but that doesn't mean you have a Chevy or a VW. Panoz uses Ford engines, but he doesn't call his cars Fords...

I gotta admit, I like the looks of the ripoff/surefire laser module. Don't buy the Beamshot. They have the three screw adjustment. Pain in the rear to center.

Oh, I wrote my post badly. What I'm sure they mean is that their lights won't stand up to the abuse of being mounted on a real firearm. That's why the weaponlight is 1/10 the cost of the real SF M500a
