if the A2 lives up to my expectation i will probably sell the E2E. but you never know.

Any info, guesses on A2 price? Using E2E as reference with Surefire $85 MSRP, I'm guessing $125 minimum but I was surprised with KL series pricing, particularly KL2 19 LED regulated head so perhaps we'll be surprised by A2 as well if we're lucky.

geepondy, like the sig line. i too would love an e2 clickie. when you have to use your light for more than quick bursts it's a pain in the thumb or a hassle to use two hands to turn it off or on.

speaking of, anybody know how the A2 switch will work?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I used to feel the same way until I discovered -

1) Bezel on/off/lockout: Tighten tailcap until ON, hold in conventional flashlight position using Clip and head as rotary switch. This works best with E2, E2HA. Slightly less convenientwith E2e but perfectly workable, but does not work nearly as well with other SF lights.

2) While holding light in "Tactical Position" simply shift thumb from tail button to underside of tailcap, simultaneously shifting index finger to top side of tailcap. Now just twist clockwise or counter-clockwise for on-off. This may sound complicated but is actually very simple and convenient. If the tailcap is hard to turn, lube the o-ring and threads with silicone grease or any good lube (Check first to see if SF Orings are petrochemical-safe). I find the first method far superior when I'm walking/trekking and tactical positioning is inappropriate, if not downright ridiculous!

brightnorm, good suggestion but i'd still kill for a clickie.

on their "tactical" lights the current switch makes sense but on an E2E it's a waste.
