Hello,
I am new here so I'm not sure where to put this. Can anyone help me to find a socket that is similar to the maglite AA bulb socket assembly. I'm working on a precision machined brass light and would like to buy a socket from an existing supplier rather than thru Mag lite distribution system, and also the clear lens and reflector. these part# are 108-000-211, 108-000-046, 108-000-038.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks Don M.

Welcome aboard. Post this in the WTB foroum, too. I did a while ago and a nice fellow sent me a bag of used Mag parts that were pulled from conversions.

I don't know if you mean "similar" as in the actual MiniMag socket, but if you do, I know I have a few lying around somewhere. Email me your address and I can probably send one out to you (I'm pretty sure I can find a reflector and lens also).

brinkmann has a somthing that is simaler in their legend 2aa but turning off the light invlovles using a tailcap switch

Where can I see the brinkman light socket?
In my application I won't need it to operate like a switch.
I just need it to hold bulb and use 2 AA batteries just like Mag-lite AA. I would purchase about 500 at a time along with the lense and reflector. thanks

You could always buy 500 Minimags, pull the parts out that you need, then sell the bodies here on the BST forum. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yellowlaugh.gif
You would get your parts & the modders would get the rest.
