I am about to place an order at Emilions site and I plan to include some of the AAA and AA rechargeable 3.6 volt Li-Ion batteries. I tried a search however could not find any chargers on this forum nor on his website. Does anyone know if there is a charger available to charge these cells? The one listed on Emilions site says it is for the larger Li-Ion cells and all the others seem to be for batteries other than Li-Ion.
It seems I read here some time past of a combo package with charger and batteries however I can not find anything now. Any ideas as to where or who may provide the charger required?

CPF Member AW has leads that have an aligator clip at one end and a small magnet at the other. I use a set of these with a nano charger to charge my Li AAA rechargables.

Thanks Tritium and I will check on that. I assume that I can not use just any charger for the Li-ion cells correct? I have some for Nimh cells however I know nothing about chargers or how they work. It seems strange to me that Emilion has the batteries and not the chargers. I was wondering about using some form of magnet or even a spacer on the multi bay charger he has for Li-Ion cells. He really does have some great prices and seems to always stocked with some really cool lights.
I do have the smart charger from BatteryStation that charges my R123 cells. I may be able to use these clips you suggest on this charger.

I have some protected 7.2v Li-ions too...still can't find a (low price) charger...
 
Robo, what you are concerned with is rate of charge. this is assuming you are using a nano or li-ion specific charger.

most recommend .5C not to exceed 1C

would guess mah of AAA sized li-ion is in range of 350 mah.
someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I beleve nano charge at aprox. 200 milliamps.

assuming current is correct, this would make charging AAA li-ion in safe current range by Nano charger.

don't leave cell in charger after charged light comes on. will continue to trickle charge. could cause a dangerous situation if left charging for extended periods.

7.2V cylinder shaped Li-Ion two cell pack? Where? I did a quick search of your site for 7.2V and come up, nada!!
 
I may include the Nano Charger with my order as the cost is such a low price. Does anyone know what the rate of charge is for the charger sold by BatteryStation. It is the 2 bay one sold with the R123 cells on the special page for CPF members. I already have one of these chargers. Also when using a charger that does not fit the cells is it correct to simply attatch a lead wire to each terminal. Then attatch these wires to the correct ends of the batteries?

nope, not on my site... on my desk :P Made by 2 X 16340..( 7.2v protected )
