Abrasiveness of GITD o-rings

Hi, everyone!

I'm expecting to receive a few glow-in-the-dark o-rings pretty soon, and I'd like to know your experiences on putting such rings on LEDs.

I've read that glow paint is solvent-based. Is it bad to put a GITD o-ring around 5mm LEDs? Or there's no problem doing that?
