There I was, lubeing my O-rings the other night :)sssh:), when I realized the head of my T15 fits onto my Leef body for the P1D CE!

And it works!

Left to right - P1D-CE, Olight T15 AA body, Olight T15 Leef body.

Quite an attractive combo don't ya think?

T15 with an AA NiMh on high - left and with a cr123a on Leefbody on right

All the settings work with a primary CR123A, but are much brighter than with AA.

And with an RCR123A also on right, quite a bit brighter.

It should be noted that there are only two levels with an RCR123A High and the next level down - the strobe and SOS still work, though.

Now P1D-CE on high on left - T15 Olight RCR123A on right

Not too good pics but T15 is much whiter, with a brighter and smaller hot spot, the spill is also increased from the P1D-CE.

Feels very good in the hand, I will have to EDC it for a bit to see If I need to buy another Leef McClicky in the near future.

Sadly the Olight head doesn't work with the P1D-CE body!!! Or the P1D-CE with the Olight body - win some lose some.

Be lucky....

hey, does this mean the Olight level changes (twisting the head) works with the Leef body?

Ooooh, May have to find a leef body somewhere then...

Great find!

Yeah, the UI of the t15 is the same with a CR123A as with an AA - only high and near high with an RCR123A.

I think the head can take the extra voltage as I found an earlier thread using AA size 3.0 and 3.7 volt rechargables from last year.

Anyway, I do think I'll be trying to get a black tailpack now from Leef. The form factor is way better - forward clicky and much easier to click on/off than the stock Olight one which has always been a bit stiff with both my T15's.

Be lucky...

Oh, rats! More purchases in the near future!

Nice idea though

I must say, I really like this combo! Sort of like a KL1 but brighter, with a strobe and with some spill.

Be lucky....

Looks like my P1Dce is getting demoted back to the twisty......:)

So have you encountered any problems with the t15 on the leef body so far?
Or is it all still working just like it does on the AA body?

So does anyone else have a T15 and a Leef body?
Does anyone else know of any other heads/bezels that will fit on a Leef body(except for the t10/t15 and p1dce

I recently gave my P1DCE away........so the leef body is feeling a bit lonely.

plus u can get the extra body for AA or cr123 for only $10 or so.
oh well t10+ aa tube here you come:grin2:

well T10 and T15 tube arrived.

nice light.....Great service from Battery Junction!

all is the same as Nycto explained.

a P1DCE head does fit on and work with the T10 tube though.
Not with the AA tube though.

It is a much nicer light with the Leef clicky

Thought I would post here instead of making a new thread.

Does anyone know of any other lights that will fit on the Leef body described above?
dosent matter where it comes from just has to fit and work.

cheers

Nice.........seems to be just what i'm looking for.

I like that it does not have strobe type modes.

Thanks for the quick reply!!

by the way, know of a good vendor (online) to grab one of these?

I'm Canadian, so I buy from WWW.mec.ca

Works out to be around $58 US or so, I think (based on $5 shipping?).

I'm not sure if you have to pay sales taxes so it might be a few $ cheaper there.

I dunno if it's on there website yet, just in-store.

Otherwise, I have not looked for the Serac online yet.

Please note that I have not tested this yet. The Serac is Fenix made and follows the same threading as the P1D. I'm about 90% certain it fits, but cannot say for sure because I didn't have a P1D body to test it out.
