When leaving my cabin up in north Georgia three weekends ago, my ITP A3 Upgrade fell off my keychain. I didn't notice, nor did I miss it until I was back in Atlanta later that night.
I wasn't sure where I had lost it, and even if I had, the gas to run back up and fetch it would have cost more than the light.
Anyway, yesterday I got back up there, and sure enough, it was laying on my gravel driveway in direct sunlight.
After sitting out there in 95 degree heat and several good downpours over three weeks, I was able to brush it off and give it a twist -- presto, lit up just like new! And other than some rust on the attached keychain, the finish was still perfect.
We read impressive torture tests by makers of top quality lights, but who else has subjected an everyday light to a good inadvertent thrashing?
