I was wondering where would be the best place to put the glow material? I've heard of people painting their reflector...but that's gotta screw up a few things. Paint of power? How much is 1/2 oz of paint equal to.

I added a little ring of glow paint on the SO17XA reflector in my Mag AA sandwich mod.. Works great and has no impact on the beam. 1/2 oz of paint is the same size as your standard cosmetic nail varnish container. I bought my glow paint at http://www.readysetglo.com/

Was the ring put on the top part of the reflector or at the bottom near the bulb? I have a longbow mini where I'm thinking of putting glow paint on the inside casing of the head. If you take the carclo reflector out, the black areas would be where I'm considering putting it. Anybody try this yet?

The ring is at the bottom, right next to the Luxeon.. It's also pretty thin, probably 1mm or so, but still puts out significant light when charged..

I did the same to my MAG 3C LUX III mod.
but after all I am a bit sorry, because
here in Germany I could only get nightcolor
from Revell (thats for scale models). And it
only glows for a few minutes as well. Lets
see if I can get my hands on better stuff
in the future ...

Cheers
Ralf
