Adhesives

I did a basic search and didn't find a satisfactory answer about this topic. Does anyone have a preferred adhesive they use when bonding the LED (bin?) to the housing (pill?). Just so I'm clear I'm referring to the part you solder the wires to coming off the regulator board. Forgive a newbie for such a dumb question. Thanks, John

I use the same guy but I have one thing I did not like about it. Once it sets, good luck pulling it apart or cleaning it when you've messed up or want to do an emitter change.

I clean up with alcohol swabs, clean up is easy while it's still wet.

Once it cures, you're *****. I learned this the hard way.

It still comes off with some effort and alcohol.
It's not too hard to pop whatever you glued off and then once you do that you'll have to rub hard with alcohol.

Cured Arctic Alumina can be softened with heat.

I make my own thermal epoxy with Devcon 30 minute epoxy and alumina oxide used in a 50/50 ratio.
