Advantages of Stainless Assault Head

I'm thinking of buying a SolarForce L2, but the model with the stainless assault head is about eight dollars more expensive than the regular aluminum assault head. I know how assault heads can be used in self defense, but aluminum works as an assault head too. The stainless head also increases vertical strength, so the flashlight can act as a wedge or stop.

So are there any other advantages of a stainless assault head over an aluminum one? And on a bit of a separate note, how good is the L2 now? I've been very impressed with the Fenix P3D and can't decide to go with the L2 or with the T7. What's your take?

In addition to being less biologically and bacteria friendly, Stainless is much easier to clean the blood off when used as a weapon. . So when using stainless as a weapon as opposed to aluminum, your victim is much less likely to develop an infection. It's the little touches to show you care. You really only want to hurt and injure people in the short term, not some drawn out debilitating illness right?

plus, stainless is shinier.

Depending on the heat treat used on the SS vs the alum, the SS might resist deformation more.

You get the Bling factor when you roll out your SS Assault tactical head, hopefully this will scare off the enemy and gets you street props.

SS steel looks ballin, but can get you too much attention at the wrong palces, it is however harder than aluminum so it should hold its shape over use. When you wack that into someones head, it should retain its sharpness overtime.

I see. Well, SolarForce is selling a stainless assault head for twenty-something dollars, so someone must be buying it. Still, aluminum is strong enough to whack someone in the face or stomach with. If you have occasion to use the flashlight as a door stop for someone who's not exactly happy to see you, the steel head will add significant strength.

How about the L2? How good is it compared to the T1? I'm upset that the current/latest version isn't offered in gold. I kinda liked that.
