-=Advice needed=- Charging Li-Ons in series or paralel

Hello,
recently bored 2D mag to accsept 2x2 18650.

The question, can i safely charge - discharge this "pack" without worying about danger of disbalance of cells? (cells are unprotected)

Or i could, when charging, put the all 4 cells paralel and charge that way? But then i would neet do remove cells from flashlight... but i would like to charge them in the flashlight.

Please, give me an advice.

It will not be safe to charge these cells in series. Parallel charging is safer, but this needs a bigger current and with unprotected cells you will still have to be careful not to overcharge them.

This is a fairly big subject to cover, and it is a matter of some debate here on CPF at the moment. The best thing you could do would be to read some of the other related threads. This one will give you an idea of some of the issues involved:
