Aeon Brass Split Ring, help!

For small split rings that are plenty strong I suggest you check the local fishing tackle shops. The come in stainless, black and maybe copper/brass and the better ones have weight/strain ratings. Online you can have a look at Cabelas or BassPro.

A couple of my old Peak lights came with brass split rings. Maybe Peak would sent you some.
