Anyone have an opinion on the ak 38. What kind of distance in metres is it capable of lighting up?

It is very similar in output to the Inova X5.

ok, the AK38 measures 63,000mcd , and the Inova X5 measures 57,500mcd.
I believe the AK38 has a very slightly narrower beam; that's why its mcd reading is a little higher.
