Yes there is one catch. It's only on the yellow color option. But at $70.oo on SureFire's website, and knowing you're getting 600 actual lumens on the high mode; it's still a good deal.

Does SF site say whether the yellow is ceracoat, or baked on powdercoat?
Yellow is a good color for truck light, and price is right!

It's neither. The information is listed in the Specs section. The light is constructed from a Nitrogen polymer.

I remember reading somewhere a few years back that they are powder coated.

Unfortunately, I have no clue what SF does with their aluminum heads. Though never seen a thread in which anyone complained that the color comes off too easily.

Speaking of bygones, this deal is gone since B&H apparently cleared their inventory of these yellow G2x models.
