Alternate holster for Maelstrom

Hi People,



Just wanting to know if anyone is using an alternate holster for the Maelstrom, not really that keen on the supplied one. I was thinking of getting a Maxpedition single sheath, has anyone tried or is using this one?

I also felt that the holster supplied by 4Sevens was not up to par with the Maelstrom.

The 4Sevens holster seemed to be too tight with the strike bezel and therefore I felt that it applied quite a lot of pressure to the switch, possibly turning the light on.

Also the belt loop is very flimsy and did not apper to keep the holster tightly on 2" dutybelt, or actually any belt.

I found universal holster from a local store that seemed to fit the light perfectly. The holster is made by swedish company Snigel Design. Couple of photos, Snigel Designs holster is on the top:
