I'm a flashlight noob and I just recently made the switch to 18650. It has so much more power than to what i'm used to (AA). I spent 6 hrs at the beach last night using general mode (55lm) for things like searching for firewood and catching blue crabs, with many moments switching to high (220lm) mainly for beaconing aliens from other planets :laughing:. Before putting in the 18650, it measured at 4.05 volts and when I got home, it measured at 3.89! And to think I even brought a spare battery just in case haha.
How many volts should I run down the battery until I need to change to a new one? My battery says protection from 4.20 - 2.75 but i'm thinking maybe I should change it when its around 3.50?
If only I could stuff a 18650 down my d10..
