Maybe some find it interesting to se my BT35 mod.
It collimates the beam. Its an 0.35x wide angle adaptor with 58mm threads for camcords etc. The lens is easy to remove when not needed.
I have no measurments made but its a big increse in throw with a much more tight beam. I didnt take an unmodded pic of the beam. The light on the ground is from the car.
I have modded the Xsword La-60 to. The LA-60 tightens the beam but looses throw.
The Bt-35 beats it easily.
I use many different flashlights for nightphotography.
The pics are just phone snapshots so sorry for the quality.
Its not a great looking mod but it works great. The windmill is 1.4km away. I think it easy reaches 2km with 0.25lux.
