When I hear this NB90.16 pushing 10K lumen I was skeptical. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!
almost 10K lumen and 260Kcd in a light this size is truly what the hell! What else can we ask for?!

What are the advantages of the NB90.16? Is that a proprietary LED for Amutorch?
No its just a new Chinese made LED. They did a GREAT job! I am working to get more so I can put them in a ton of lights.

NB90.16 biggest advantage is Low Vf and extremely high output. Throw wise its great for a multi die LED but its not as good as SBT90.2. Tint is clean white and this is a huge plus. Cree tends to F up here sometime.
This LED should be 1/3 the price of SBT90.2 too.

This LED should do great in medium size lights to large multi emitter lights. 10K lumen from one LED pushed with only 1 cell is really milestone achievement.

China is killing it in the Flashlight world.

I was really tempted to get an XT60 with SBT90.2, but now you're really tempting me with your NB90.16.
I may have to part with some money soon.... :(
Thanks for your explanation. :)

Any word on the CRI? I can't find anything online yet.
