The place where the light don't shine
One night, while I am driving.

A car behind me was throwing his high beam HID light.

It was damn glaring.

I had a good mind to let him pass by me and at the instant when he's beside me, I give him a horn. Wind down my window, when he's looking at me, I shine my 180 lumens P2D at him. Let him has a taste of being shone at.

But I thought better of that.. Wait later cause an accident..I drop the whole idea..

Above are just joking, dun take me too seriously.

Any similarities to actual persons is also pure coincidence, and not my intent. I cannot emphasize enough how coincidental my fictional entities are to any real life individual, entity, or character.

If this happens to become fact, it should be considered a coincidence. There are seven billion of us on the planet.

Re: Oops I think I am addicted.

Good thinking on your part!!! I have thoughts like this flash in my mind also but from past experience everytime I let loose I end up losing in the end. It is not worth it most of the time and people on the road are psychos. Here in New England USA there is no etiquette. it's every man for himself.

Maybe every place is the same.

Life too stressful..

Lucky got CPF.

One more thing, as the computer is in my bedroom.
Normally I on the ceiling light, but it will disturb my other half.

Although she never complain, I find it's not too nice.

Now I pop a rechargeable AA into the L1D, on the medium(53 lumens) place it on the ground, it really light up the computer area.

Now I can carry on surfing the internet, while my other half can have her beauty sleep.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you started this thread to tell people how near you came to doing something quite dangerous, and how you realised just in time that it was a bad idea.

You were wise not to shine your light into the other motorist's eyes, as you could well have caused an accident.

If that is the point of the thread, it is a good topic. However, I think it belongs in the Café, and I am moving it there.

I am also going to change the thread title for you, to "An unwise impulse - resisted!" A title should reflect the intended topic and give a good indication of what the thread is about.

You should come visit me at the office in Inglewood, California. ("Inglewood always up to no good.") Here it is perfectly okay to run the offender off the road and then go after the guy's family. ;-)

If someone's tailgating me bad or cuts me off bad or some such, I let them go by with a smile and imagine that there might be Karma. If that were true - and who knows - then maybe somewhere up ahead there's a doped up gangbanger with a Tec-9 whom he is destined to meet...

Either way, it shouldn't affect my day...

We've had the road-rage and get-back-at-the-other-driver threads before. They don't work out.

Closed.
