Hi Everybody,
This morning just before 6 am, there was an accident. Local rumor is a tractor trailer overturned and slid into the building to avoid hitting a car that cut him off. The truck struck the natural gas meter and took out the electric utilities at the same time. There were no deaths, and the truck driver survived and is in stable condition at a local hospital. This was the oldest building in town. It was an actual working gristmill back in the day it was built. I frequented this Tavern(Resturant) many times as it was only a 1/4 mile from our first home in Seekonk Massachusetts. It is still unknown if the owner will be able to rebuild due to new laws because it sits over a local river.
