What the heck is a high dome and low dome?

high dome od HD and low dome LD is referring to the limileds Luxeon line of LED's. HD kinda looks like a 5mm LED top, LD is about 1/2 as tall, these give off light forward in different radiating patterns. there is also a side emitter SE, that gives off its light to the sides.

I am sure someone has some pics somewhere.
