Another TL3 question

It seems that Streamlight sources some of its offerings (e.g. Twintask) from Nuwai (www.nuwai.com.tw), I was wondering if there's any connection between the Streamlight TL3 (LED version) and Nuwai's 5-watt Luxeon products?

I believe the TL's are Made in America.

My TL-3 LED and TL-3 Xenon are made in the USA according to the packages.
