You mean 1.5v Li-Ion? Probably never. Your choice is between 1.7v LiMnO2 and 3.7v Li-Ion, and 3.2v LiFePO4 in the AA size format.

AW is selling rechargable Li-Ion cells HERE they are named "14500"
DX also have them HERE and else.
I do not know about the primaries.

Nope. The Energizer e2 and equivalent are 1.7v LiMnO2, not rechargable Li-Ion
