I like it a lot, too! The kid I used to babysit got the entire original series on DVD last year, and I have invited myself over numerous times to watch it.
While it was a series that showcased the early talents of maybe only one or two notable actors (Robert Redford, William Shatner, Donna Douglas, Inger Stevens, Anne Francis, and on, and on, and on), it was a very dangerous show for children to watch. It made them think about things and dream of how things might be.
The Twilight Zone is one of those timeless television shows. It's also great "chicken soup TV". I have many favorite episodes, To Serve Man, The Eye Of The Beholder, The Midnight Sun, Nick Of Time, The Masks, One For The Angels, but my all time favorite, hands down, is Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up?.
