Anybody got a #5 power Eiger or El Captain?

I would like to order a XPG SS Eiger with narrow optic. I am trying to decide between a #4 power option or #5. I have a #4 Eiger Rebel 100 that draws

Enegizer Lithium (1.78 V no load) = 160 mA
Rayovac Alkaline (1.56 V no load) = 180 mA
Lithium Ion (4.0 V no load) = 120mA

I like this power level because it provides a nice amount of light and runtime.

However, I would like to bump the power a slight bit to no more than 220-250 ma draw from an alkaline battery. I definately do not want more than 300 ma draw from the battery due to decreased runtime. How much does the #5 power level draw from the battery?

Thats good news - and something I have been wanting to see.

The quick current measurements (from the intended battery) can give a pretty good idea of what runtime to expect with a given battery without having to actually do all the runtimes. Obviously it does not show the output curves but helps when trying to decide the power levels. Looking forward to seeing this.

If Curt would be willing to send me a couple of the new Eiger lights I would be willing to do the current measurements and make some nice charts. Since I do not have a light meter, I could still plot the current readings over the course of runtime while also provide a visual comparison of ceiling bounce for brightness. I think this would be a nice chart to have.

BTW I believe I have made up my mind on a #4 Eiger in SS smooth pocket body (with an extra knurled pocket body) and new narrow optic.
