I have seen a couple of threads with clips that have had stuff wrapped around them to make them fit better under the head or tailcap. Ideally, I would like a 2 way clip like the LX2 picture on the website. Will any clips for other Surefire lights fit under the head or under the tailcap of a 6P? If I have to file a notch in the body of the light, that is OK.

Solarforce has a two way clip that they have on ebay. It mounts on the bezel end and is actually pretty cool looking. It's chrome, but oh well the bezel would be very useful.

If you are lucky you can find a Surefire D2 or D3.

They were discontinued a while ago, but were basically 6P and 9P's with a pocket clip.

I have something in the works for the twisty 6P tail with a clip.

The Z59 clips will be back in stock in a few weeks.

the solarforce clip is not friendly with LED drop-ins. will work for stock p60 lamp.

Clip off a Novatac 120P works well.

Lighthound.com sells them for something like $5. I use one on a G2 and added a rubber gasket so that it fits real tight when I screw the switch down. Works Great for bezel down carry.

If I screw my 6P tailcap down far enough to pinch the novatac clip like in these pictures, the light will stay on. I dont think it will screw down that far enough anyway. Don't remember the tailcap #(maybe Z41), but it is the the factory original. Would the D2 or D3 clip fit with no modification?

I just use two O-rings (one on top, one on the bottom) to hold the Novatac clip in place :)
