I just registered here but have been reading about 5 months.

I hope it's OK to ask in this section but has anyone dealt with www.tannersstorefront.com before?

I saw them listed it the link section and liked some of their selection.

Streamlight Stinger since 1996

Bought my Eternalight Ergo-3 from them and deal went smoothly. I'll recommend Tanners.

I've ordered 1 or 2 things from them and it was a good experience. I think they have pretty decent prices and they carry a decent variety of lights. They also have a lot of other "cool" things like knives, so you can combine your shipping.

If I remember correctly, I think they "recycle" their shipping boxes. But who cares! It's only a box and it helps to hold down costs and saves the earth.

Do a search here on CPF for other reviews/reports, including one from me. I did several orders with them, and had several things go wrong. Things didn't ship right away, either. Mostly, they worked with me reasonably to resolve these problems -- but my last order had one DOA item, and when I informed them of this, they simply said they did't stock replacement bulbs for it. That this occurred on my last order is not a coincidence.

I've since decided that the money I save going to the cheapest shop isn't worth the time and hassle, and I prefer to do business with places like Brightguy.com that have an excellent reputation and have given me impeccable service. Other people may choose to value their time differently, of course.

If you order one or two things from one of the cheaper places, changes are things will go fine. It's when you make a bigger, more complicated order (e.g. ordering photon microlights of various colors for everybody in the office, or getting a bunch of Christmas gifts at once) that the chances of some sort of error go way up.

I tried to get an E1 & E2 from them but they kept saying it was out of stock.
