Anyone else get told your MTE M3-2 light is on backorder?

Getting a little more than frustrated here. On Jan 29th I ordered a MTE M3-2 Cree MC-E light from Best Offer Buy. It was my first time buying from them but I chose them because at the time is was a Chinese holiday and all the sites said they would not ship until a certain date after the holiday. Well Best Offer Buy was the one site that said they would start shipping the soonest, so I went with them. I even paid extra for 2-5 day shipping. When placing my order it never said anything about the item being back ordered. I also ordered some batteries and a charger.

On Feb 6th, a week later, I sent an e-mail asking about the status of my order. They responded that due to the holiday they were behind and that my order would be shipped "next week." I was a little bummed but I can understand that they would be behind after a holiday.

Another week goes by and I send another e-mail asking about my order. This time I am told it is on backorder from the factory and they should have it "next week." Swell. Then 3 days later I get a shipping notification saying my order has been sent. Great! Except, when I get the package, it is just the cells and the charger. Not so great.

I send another e-mail and am told the light is still on backorder and I can either get a refund or wait. I chose to wait as if it really is a problem with the MFG it won't be any different with any other website.

Sent another e-mail today and if they say it's still on backorder I may consider the refund. I'm tired of waiting.

So as the thread title says, anyone else been told this light is on backorder? The actual description is "MTE M3-2 Cree MC-E 8-Mode 700-Lumen LED Flashlight with Assault Crown (1*18650)."

I ordered my MTE M3-2 but without the assault crown, from DX. I placed the order on Feb. 11, and I received the light on Feb. 23. For the first week or so, the product inventory status message on DX's page alternated between "in stock, 1-3 days" and "2-5 days".
 
Still waiting. On Thursday they said they would send me a "similar" light instead but it would take 1-2 business days to check their stock. Still haven't heard from them and sent them another email today. I sure hope I get a light, any light at this point. No doubt this will be my last transaction with them. They are good at answering emails, but not so good at delivering what I paid for a long, long time ago.
 
Wow. They couldn't supply me with ANY light in this lumen range, even though several are listed on their website. They refunded the money today. I guess someone else gets my business.
 
Weird given they seem to just drop ship from DX that petey would get his direct and they cannot get one at all.

Well, i assume they just drop ship from DX, if they dont then they just steal the pictures from DX.
