Anyone else notice an odor?

I've noticed an odor when I open my G2. Anyone else have the same experience? Do the Lithium batteries give off some type of gas?

If you stress the battery enough to get it hot, I beleive it will off-gas....sweetish smell.

I have a Brinkman LX with stock batteries, and it smells like alcohol inside. It's not my imagination either, since my brother was over a few days ago, picked it up and started screwing around with it, opened it, and said "how come it smells like alcohol"?
