Anyone know where to get a D-Cell tube that accepts C-cells?

I want to put some of AW's Lithium C cells (1" OD) into a D cell Maglite which has an ID of about 1.34" and trying to find a tube that let me fit the C cells into a D Maglite.

McMaster-Carr has some that are close, but not perfect.

I bought some rubber tubing at the local TrueValve hardware store for my 26650 size cells. I had to put a slit down the length of the tube for them to fit inside. But the outside diameter is perfect. The AW cells I believe are a little smaller in diameter so they may fit without slitting. A very inexpensive solution.

It's kind of an odd size, and Modamag probably had to machine the tubes on his adapters.

Should be a fairly quick job to bore out/shave down a section of PVC, if you have a lathe. If not, I might be able to help.

Nice. Then you just wrap that in some foam to take up the space in D size mag?

Why not use a C size mag lux?

I use Schedule 40 1" PVC pipe in my 2D containing 3C Duracell batteries. Works fine.
