Anything better than a stinger out there?

I have recently found this forum, and didn't know there was a place like this out there. I actually stumbled across it on accident and love it... But I digress...

I am looking to purchase a Streamlight Stinger DS LED, but I was looking around like I usually do before buying something, and I am not really finding anything out there on them other than the amazon reviews of "Great light!"...To include here. Is there any other option out there for a rechargeable light for ~$130 that is better than the stinger? I am really looking for a grab and go light that is fairly bright and with a decent throw... Any ideas or is a stinger a pretty decent option?

I would suggest you take a look at the Strion LED (pretty much the same as the Stinger LED series except for Li-Ion battery and smaller size).

You've got an awful lot of options available in that price range, even more should you decide to buy used from someone here.
