I have been looking for a 2 switch light and found the iTP Eluma series with R5. I really like the UI and size, and big rear switch, but would want something with an XML.

I can't find their website. Does iTP exist anymore? Are they making new models?

If not, is anyone making the equivalent to the iTP eluma series with an XML?

thanks!

nothing new from iTP, as the name has already been dropped and Olight is the brand that remains. :)

I love my SC1. I would totally buy an XM-L version. I know Olight updated iTP's twisties. I have an I3 and it is a great light too. I never owned the A3 but I don't see how it could be any better than the I3.

Now they just need to update the Eluma line.

Aha, thanks.

Looking over the Olight line I do see a glaring omission of the iTP Eluma updated to an XML. Bummer since the UI and form factor on the Eluma series looks outstanding for price point.

I still think that the SA1 and SC1 are a steal at $40. Even with the couple year old design and the older XP-G emitter.

Seems like this line never really got the following it deserved. Did Olight buy iTP just for one line of lights? I hope they keep the Eluma series around.

And I don't know of another light, even a high end light that gives you both forward and reverse switches and lets you decide which one you want to run. The day I got my SC1 I thought "I'll try the forward switch for a day or two before I mount the reverse switch" and I still have that switch in it. The forward switch just has a great feel to it.

So I hope Olight isn't going to kill this line.

Yes not all iTP models made it to Olight. The not-so-good selling ones got omitted.

the "iTP A3 EOS Upgraded" is still being sold in mass quantities (and i could probably ask the local distributor or the manufacturer olight). so does anyone know for 100% if the iTP A3 actually *still* comes out of the production machines??

is it still being manufactured?, or do exclusively come the Olight i3's out of the olight/itp/machineries?

re the Eluma series again, does anyone know if they all use the same head?

I'm curious if I can run higher voltage rechargeables in the 2AA or 1x123 models for more power. I assume if they use the same head as the 6volt model it would work.

I like everything about the eluma but want a bit more power, and the XPG is capable of more than the base specs

I was just testing my SC-1 with Energizer 2300 mah Nihm's tonight. I love the SC-1 as a main EDC 123 light. Great build quality and a very usable beam for everyday use. I'm currently comparing it with an Arc6 that a buddy loaned me. The Arc is an incredible design that will probably outlive the SC-1 by double, but I have to admit that the SC-1, for the money is killer. If you can find them before they disappear, buy an SC-1 and have fun with it for under $40.

I need to try my SC-1 with the Bigger batteries.

PS: I'm also testing an Olight i3 right now, and it's quite the deal for $22 at batteryjunction. Its exceeding the run-time specs at every level.
