I apologize for my less than stellar behaviour on a few threads. I should not have forced others to be in the middle of something they did not choose to be. There have been some who understood why I was the way I was and I appreciate it, but for the others, again, my apologies. It was not my intention to discourage meaningful discourse. I may have strong opinions, but I welcome opposing ones (preferred with something to back it up). It is a great way to learn.

No worries, and we're glad to have you here. I like seeing your thoughts on lighting; especially with regards to color perception and tasking (In caves, too!).

This was a great little trick I was exposed to ... or perhaps trick is the wrong term.

1) Under reasonable quality cool white light, i.e. 5000K+, find the smallest text you can and read it, study it, get a feel for crispness.

2) Then immediately put yourself into warm white of similar brightness and keep watching the text. For everyone I have seen do this, the text literally gets fuzzy to some degree within 30-120 seconds or so. It works the other way too with the text getting crisper when moving into the cool light, but the effect of an improvement is not as dramatic as seeing things get fuzzier.
