Arc 4+ Second Brighter than First?

Hi, several people mention that their Arc 4+ Second on Level 1 is brighter than certain Arc 4+ First. How do I go to test mine out to see if my Second is brighter than the First? I don’t have a light meter and this is the beam shot compared to a LSH-P.

Take them both outside and light up various objects at varying distances.

Also take them both into a dark room and alternate shining them at the same spot on the ceiling. Don't look at the ceiling though, look around the room to see the difference in reflected light. If there is a discernable difference you should be able to tell, probably more so with the second method.

LitFuse, your 2nd method sounds great, but I don't have a 4+ First so it's a bit hard to compare.

Anyone happen to have a beamshot of a 4+ First and a LSH-P side-by-side and can post it (or email it to me)?

You could also look up your Arc 4 second serial# on the Arc 4 brightness list, there youll see how bright your arc is compared with others either first or seconds.

Yep right here but i dont think this list has the lux reading of each LS.
