ARC AAA LE (WHEN?)

A while ago I submitted a post regarding waiting for my LE. From what I have gathered from the web that this February date I'm hearing is Nichia's ship date for their led's

Is this true? Does anyone know what the turnaround time is from ARC? I pre-ordered back in December and I am getting impatient

PG said sometime in Feb for LEDs according to what Nichia told him, then some time for assembly/completion and shipping. I've been waiting a while too!

When the regular AAA LEDs came in from Nichia, ARC had them to dealers within two weeks.

Just got the LEDs in today and confirmed that they are the correct rank (SB1)!

We also got the EV turquiose (no go on the DV) today.

We are still on schedule to deliver these in February.

Wooo hooo!!!! I've had an LE on order for two months and I am foaming at the mouth!

Is it possible to get my hands on one of these new LEs if I didn't pre-order months ago? Are any dealers going to be getting a few, or is there some other way to reserve/buy one?

Here's another update on the LE and EV:

We have the LEDs at our electronic assembler. They are out of PCBs though and the pick-and-place is busy doing a big motorola job. IF we get machine time for our boards soon and IF they have enough people to put the LEDs on in a timely fashion, these should be ready to ship by February 7th. They will go out to dealers and web orders when we get them in.

After we have filled all back orders, we should have enough to take some new orders the following week. I will keep you posted!
