I have an ARC AAA LE and there's a few things that im curious about. How do i tell the difference between a premium edition and a limited edition? what is the difference between the two? Upon the top it is inscribed "L.E.D. "AAA"-Arc Flashlight, LLC. On the bottom it is inscribed with "Limited Edition" Also, the light output is compared to a Photon2 after a few minutes of use. It is obviously much brighter than my CMG Infinity, but i really dont think there is much of a comparison. But i'm still sasitifyed with the output of the light.

Also, the Foam... The foam seems much more of a hassle than a use. within the first week that i got it, the foam fell off and i never replaced it. is there any harm being done to the light? Any other more permenant methods to stop rattling? Is there any chance peter would be as kind as to send me a new clip? Even though people think it is ugly and to shiny, that does nothing to it's functionability. I lost mine on a camping trip. =\

And is there any way to overcome the extreme sasitifaction and excitement this light brings? It makes me happy whenever i know it is going to be dark. I wish it was dark more often so i could use it more. =)

Also, why is the turquoise being discontinued? which was brighter. the turquoise ARC AAA or the green one? (well, the perception of brightness)

If anyone could address all of my problems with this Arc light, i would be really happy. =) ! (.)

The foam stops the rattling and doesn't fall out for most people. Arc will send you another piece on request (according to the instruction card). Put it on with a little krazy glue if you have to. I don't think the rattling causes harm. Your CMG Infinity rattles the same way, right?

Hello P K, you have a Limited Edition (LE) which is the same as the Premium Edition save the inscription. The difference between a Premium Edition and Standard Edition is the color temp of the LED. If you shine both units on a wall side by side you will see the difference readily. Both beams will have some blue in the center but the PE will have a warmer (whiter) tint overall.

The foam retainer should stick quite well. The only reason for it to fall off I have seen is if it gets saturated with oil. We can send you free replacements of this and the o-ring with a SASE.

We can also send you a free clip but it won't fit in a SASE and therefore will require the $8 fedex shipping. We can also add it to a order already in the system to combine shipping into one.

The colors are being discontinued for the time being (a year or so) while we catch up on shipping the white.

Well, my Infinity rattles in a very nice way beacuse of the light. I think of my Infinity as a tank. The Rattling makes a nice, deeper rattle. The rattle in my Arc AAA is a little rattle. It's like comparing a Lion (CMG Infinity) to the meow of a Lynx (Arc AAA).

Also, the adhesive may have been effected by the cold. It was very cold.
