Nice unit, IMHO i think i like the TSP-123 better. has a little keyring loop-hole thingie. A 1*AA model would be really neat though. runtime would be shorter though. Would be nifty to try but given legnth of the cell i dont see it being much different than the stock one, unless you just make it real thin.

Regading the 1XAA body:
My Arc LS lights start between 1.4..1.45 V with a very dim moon mode=> Not very usefull for NiMH, but might work reasonable with Lithium AA's. But you will never be able to discharge a battery completely.I think the first LS version with voltage regulation was better suited for 1AA.
I'm again voting for a Pila150s version.

ave you made any progress on creating 1-aa tsp's for the arc-ls? More importantly, did you finish your basement bathroom?
