I've got an old factory second LS2 that I'd really like to fix up. What can I do? As it stands now, the tint is green and the optics produce a star pattern.

I like the LuxIII idea. I'd like to have a narrow beam of some sort also. Would the low profile Fraen be a good choice for this?

If I choose the LuxIII option, I assume I'd have to change the electronics also?

You can just do the Lux 3 and a low profile fraen lens swap. No need to screw with the electronics.

Chris, agree with Wolfen. In fact I'll do it for you buddy, just send it to me...

Charlie - You are without a doubt, THE MAN. I'll try to drop it in the mail tomorrow. I need to cut some UCL to throw in front of the fraen before I package it up.

Question - Is the low profile really a low profile - I mean, will there be more space to play with? What I'm really trying to get at is..... Will there be room for a 2mm thick UCL in there?

the fraen low profile has a simaler size to the nx 05. fraen calls it the low profile because it is smaller than there other optics

2 mm UCL, is that what i once bought from you, Chris?
i think the UCL might be too thick, but i am not sure.
anyway, you can also add resistor in paralel so the lux is driven harder and thus, brighter.

Oh ya. Just got the LS back from Charlie. Anyone who has an LS with a 1W needs an LS with a 3W - plain and simple. I love my new old LS!!
