Arc4+ lux output 700-800 really?

That is what I have been seeing for brand new Arc4+ overdriven and burning for only 20minutes.

According to my calcs 800 lux = 74 lumens (sq.ft.)
700 lux = 65 lumens

Isn't this rather high for what is advertised as only 30 lumens max output on their website?

Maybe I am using wrong conversions or misunderstanding the terminology?

If it is true however, the output would be equivalent to tactical flashlights!

I know almost nothing about it, but you must be doing something wrong. The Arc website claims the LSHF-P does 700+ lux, and 22-25 lumens. See here.

I got 820 lux with my Arc4+, by using an LM-631 lightmeter exactly one meter from the sensor.

It is impossible to convert lux into lumens. They are two very different units of measurement.
Lux is a measures only the brightest spot in the beam while lumens is a measure of total output.
There is no direct relationship between the two.
To measure lumens, you need an integrating sphere which is a very expensive piece of equipment.
