Are all the sandwiches interchangeable?

I've read a lot about these sandwiches but can only find them in the minimag drop-in modules category. If I were looking for a sandwich for the firefly, is this where I should be looking or is there somewhere else that has these products? I also notice that they are all kits. Are they not sold with the sandwiches only?
 
The Modules fit in the 2AA flashlight, Firefly and Stoplight.

The modules were created for the 2AA flashlight.

Both the Firefly and the Stoplight were designed for usage with the modules.

Will the BB750 lux3 T bin work with the new firefly? Doug hasn't mentioned yet what bin he'll be using in the new firefly so I'm thinking of buying one. I think he mentioned that you will be supplying them. Have you decided what bin you will be putting in the firefly? Thanks.

The actual bin will be a the usual random garbage we get from Future.

At this point, I can only order by the base part number and hope to get good bins.

Good news is, all bin codes on the new 4 digit bin coding system are decent. So, the only thing we can't get at are possibly T bins.

The BB750 should work fine in the FF. Bear in mind that a BB500 overheats a 2AA flashlight which has more mass.

But, I believe most users of the FF use it intermittent anyway. Well, at least I do. Now with the 2 stage switch in it. I use it as my EDC. Low 99% of the time!

So we can probably conclude that the sandwiches you're making for the new firefly are using only S bins.

Since you don't really know the exact bin codes, how would this affect the tint of the led at very low current draws when the 2-level switch is installed. I've heard that when underdriven, the tint becomes more pronounced so is it possible we could actually get different colors when using low mode?

I'm not going to speculate on bin codes. As far as tint is concerned there are other CPF'ers that know this subject better than I do.

The BB1000 I have has a T ranked and it's white at full blast and chalk white at low levels.

The modules will for sure have PW09s and the lowest bin code is S, so, they will be S or better.
