Lets see if I can post this before my internet force closes on me.

Have you ever done something that made you question where your heads at?
Luckily instances like this are few and far between, but when they do happen makes you wonder...

A few things stand out that I did over the last year that had me wondering WTF is going on in my head!

Examples: When living at my friends for a few months I would try to be polite by giving a "courtesy flush" while in the restroom if it got stinky in there. In my attempt to "clear the air" I reached out in front of me and switched off the light somehow thinking this would cause the toilet to flush!!:ohgeez:.....I just sat there in the dark laughing my *** off for several minutes.

Yesterday I ALMOST put Axe body wash on my toothbrush while in the shower..:sick2::duh2:es

This one tops em all IMO. Ive always had perfect vision. Never wore glasses or put a contact lense in my eye. Last summer one of my dental crowns came out while chewing gum. I took the tooth out of the gum, inspected it and proceded to hold my eye open with my other hand like I was going to insert it in my eye like a contact lense!!!:duh2:
I must have laughed for 10 minutes straight!

Luckily I have absolutely no problem laughing at myself....but it leaves me wondering....

SOOOOOO.....anyone else wanna share some embarasing but funny moments that left you thinking...WTF?:duh2:

im clumsy by nature, and get spacey and absentminded sometimes.. so i need to think what i am doing, before trying executing it.

like:
when opening a kitchen cabinet door one can in one swift motion hit himself painfully in the forehead with the door...

AND leave the fingers of the other hand in between the door when you slam it shut due sudden pain in head.. i was reaching in too fast, just to take the glass out.. glass that fell in the floor, because it hurt when the door slammed on my hand and then i pulled the door open again and the glass rolled out and dropped.

--------
mental lapses.. it happens. my sister once: hmm, middle of empty hallway, door is locked, my hands are full of stuff, keys are still in pocket, hmm.. i will just put this soda bottle away, right here in middle of the air, so it hangs there on its own so i can pick the keys out of my pocket and open the door..

myself: dropped my friend to his house and get out of the car to open the trunk and take his bag out.. i open it with keys (old car) drop the keys into the bottom of the trunk, take the bag out. look at the keys in the floor, identifying them as keys of the car, and promptly close the trunklid. looking at the keys all the time. the moment the shadow of the lid hides the keys part of my brain starts to shout "idiot" but movement cannot be stopped. so there i stand.. beside a road middle of road with friend laughing at me, trying to think a way to break into the trunk. (the rear seats didnt fold)

eventually i figured it out. i was able to remove tail light with screwdriver with no damage, and scoop the keys out of the floor with tweeter attached to its wire.. the magnet beeing the key to this.. took me several tries to get it swung there in middle of the trunk and get the keys attached.. after i got the keys under the hole of the taillight it was easier even if i dropped it couple times before i was able to fish they out all the way. hahah.
