I've owned an M20 Premium R2 for several months now and love it. I saw all the hype and info on the new Titanium model that offers double the lumens in the same small and convenient light but have also read that it "supposedly" does not throw quite as well as the conventional M20 does. I would really like to have an M20 sized LED light that threw a hundred or more feet further down the road. In other words, one with a nice concentrated beam and little spill. Does anyone out there know of such a light and if so does it come without the cost of breaking a piggy bank into little pieces? 500 Lumens is great in a small package such as the M20 but if it cannot outthrow it's little brother, why bother with it, especially at the MSRP it was introduced at. I emailed Olight and received a response telling me they were considering a regular M20 with the updated LED and circuitry, etc. but weren't saying anything about when this new unit would be released. Suffice to say if it is simply a regular bodied M20 with the Titanium internals, it too will not out throw the standard model either..........

Would love to hear some talk about this..............

You could try the Jetbeam M1X or the Eagletac M2CX4, both are pretty compact... having a M20 sized flashlight with at least 500 lumens means half runtime.

IMO the M20 Ti is way overpriced, titanium is not that expensive, and SST50 is not brighter than a common MC-E or tri-R2

Thanks Richardcpf for your input regarding my M20 question. I thought there would be others who could, and would, shed some additional light on this subject for me, but it appears this is not the case. That's the problem with a large forum such as this one, too many posts and not enough time to read them all let alone respond. Guess I'll just have to do my own research on this and find out on my own what's out there, if anything, that will serve my needs, etc. Thanks again for Richardcpf for your response..............
