aspheric tiablo

would it help the tiablo a9 to throw a nice aspheric lens on the front? i was playing with mine in my house tonight and noticed how much spill light there is. if i could focus all that extra light into the miniscule hot spot would it throw even farther? :devil:

Maybe, maybe not. First of all, you'd have to remove the reflector to make the PCX work it's real magic. Then it's all about finding the sweet spot focal point between the lens and the emitter, which will be difficult because the head is fixed and won't move like a Mag's head will. I guess the answer is: give it a try and tell us all how it works. :twothumbs
