There is going to be a gun and sporting goods show at the Metrolina at Exit 16 off I-77 in Charlotte this weekend (Oct 11,12). I make no guarantees, but last time I was at the show there was a dealer there who had a LOT of Surefire and Streamlight flashlights and little else. Come on by, listen to his mild exaggerations as he tries to make a sale, and annoy the heck out of him by asking to see everything in the case!(if he's there - with my luck he won't be... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif )

Oh yea, they usually also have guns (of course), military stuff and clothing, MRE's, Lightsticks galore, beef jerky and spices, and lots of other things as well. Usually you can spot random flashlights on some of the "collage" tables and some have good prices. Some are sky-high...

The admission is $7 and Saturday admission gets you in Sunday too (if you can keep the stamp from wearing off of your hand.

I'm planning on being there on Saturday around 1:00 for a couple of hours, again no guarantees, but if you see some guy wandering around aimlessly wearing a white CandlePowerForums logo baseball hat, that's probably me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

He has been at the last three shows I have attended at the expo and was at a smaller show at the Merchandise mart a few months ago. It is nice to see and handle the lights but his prices are pretty high. Full MSRP on most items. I'll most likely make the show and will keep an eye out for you. I normally have my two year old in tow which makes me fairley easy to spot at shows.
