I havent see many posts on the B-6 lithium battery charger, is there a reason why? the write up to them is very purdy purdy..

Hi hoffmyster86. If you're referring to the Bantam e-station B6, I think there are at least some members here that use them. The Bantam line of chargers, made in Korea, are the most copied hobby chargers out there. Most folks seem to cheap out and buy a Chinese copy, as the prices are a lot lower, but often the quality is also.

I used (and still do on occasion) a Dynam DC6 (DC only version) charger. I was looking for a charger with more features and a higher charge current capability and almost bought a Bantam. In the end though, I also cheaped out, sorta, and bought an iCharger 106B+ instead, as it had more of the features I was looking for.

I made a typographical error in my last post. I actually purchased an iCharger 106B+, not 206B+ (actually I don't think there is a "B+", only a "B"). Basically the same charger, but only 250 Watt/10A capability.

If you really want to research about hobby chargers, the R/C forums are a good place to look. After all, the R/C hobby is the "hobby" in "hobby charger". I find RCgroups to be a good source of information. Most all makes and brands of hobby chargers are discussed in detail there. There is a Megathread about the iChargers there, started by Junsi, the manufacturer of the iCharger line, as well.

a nice meaty read there.. for now the B-6 is looking more likely just for the cost, and it can run off of an inexspencive mains adaptor (about 6-7 pounds so far in the search).
