I got a PM a while back from Barbarin (Javier) after I had a few questions about the 2.0 version of Barbolight's traffic wand. He offered to send me a couple to use. I got the package and I received 2 of the yellow wands. The wands are flat and can be carried in a cargo pocket. They are made of a reflective plastic type material (mine are bright yellow) with a velcro attachment strap. I've used the wands a few times they are very bright with both incandescents and led lights. The lights will fit lights with a external head diameter of less than 36 mm. Overall my impression of the wands is very good they are extremely bright and well suited to traffic control they also can be used even without the light on as they are extremely reflective. The lights I was able to fit are as follows, the Insight HX2 Typhoon/Gladius, SF 2/3 cell C/P series, McLux 27LT, Inova XO. The largest light I was able to fit was a SF M2 with a bezel diameter of 1.47 inches. However a few IMHO a couple of improvements could be made 1. Cover the rivet on the inside with velcro or some other substance to prevent scratching the light. 2. Offer larger sizes to fit SF M3, Pelican 7060, Mag lights. Stingers, and the Inova T4/T5. 3. Make it longer for the larger lights and make it more cone shaped vers the rectangular shape of the light. Overall for traffic control or anyone walking at night and needing to be seen from a distance I highly recommend these traffic wands.
